Prada Candy

Hello!

Another perfume post today as I couldn't wait to review this one either! Prada Candy was another thing I've wanted for ages, I love sweet fragrances and this certainly lives up to the name Candy, except it does it in a grown-up way.

I love the cute packaging on this. It's a very playful fragrance and I feel like they have represented this very well through their packaging. The hint of bright pink around the top of the bottle with Prada's classic font in gold around the band. Love.

The perfume itself is just gorgeous. So sweet, girly and fun. It's a nice light fragrance, perfect for everyday.

Base note - caramel
Heart note - benzoin
Top note - musk

Have you tried Prada Candy?

Gucci Guilty

Hello!

I'm so excited to be writing this as I've wanted this perfume for so long and I was so over-the-moon when my boyfriend got me the set for Christmas.

The magpie/Smaug in me loves the gold bottle, there's just something I love about gold-toned metallics, I think things just look super luxe when they're gold.

I absolutely adore this scent, it has a serious grown-up and sexy feel to it, definitely my go-to evening perfume. I had to research the scents to be honest as I'm not that great with identifying smells, but I wish I was!

Base notes - amber, patchouli, lilac, geranium
Heart notes - peach, lilac, geranium
Top notes - mandarin, pink pepper

The body lotion within the set also feels very luxurious, although it is very heavily perfumed so I'm not if sensitive skin would react. It's very runny when it comes out of the bottle but quickly sinks into the skin leaving it feeling incredibly smooth and soft. It doesn't have the exact same scent as the perfume, but it is still gorgeous!

I absolutely adore this perfume. Have you tried it?

Philosophy Pure Grace: Fragrance, Shower Gel & Body Creme

Hello!

More Christmas gift reviews today in the form of Philosophy's Pure Grace set. This set is simply gorgeous.

The Pure Grace collection smells like soap and water, which is amazingly fresh and clean. I just keep imagining using this set, then getting into crisp clean bed sheets. I can't think of anything feeling more luxurious. The feel and smell of clean is, in my opinion, one of the best things ever.

What I also love about this set is the packaging, I really appreciate simplistic clean designs and this certainly didn't disappoint in that area.

The super clean, fresh fragrance of these products is addicting. What I liked when I tested the shower gel and body creme is that they were very moisturising and felt very luxe, and although it is quite heavily fragranced, I wasn't irritated at all.

I think I'm going to really enjoy this set and I would most likely re-purchase the items when I run out!

Have you tried anything from Philosophy?
