The Bloggers Planner & Get 20% Off!

One of the most recent things to catch my eye is The Bloggers Planner. I find it hard to keep up with blogging sometimes, there's just so much to do! Writing, editing, scheduling and more. I've found that planning things out, setting myself schedules, writing checklists, ideas for future posts and even outfit ideas that spring into my head. Whilst I'm happy using a plain notebook I picked up from Tesco, as a blogger and sucker for all things pretty, I was hankering after something nicer.

The Bloggers Planner offers a wide range of planners, notebooks and printables to keep you organised with your blog, such as style journals, blog planners, meal planners, to-do lists and monthly calendar print-outs. You can also build your own planner, and each planner gives you the option of your own wording. Pretty neat, huh?

I haven't ordered mine yet, but I'm planning on buying either the Bloggers Planner or the Content Planner. They both include really great pages to help you keep on top of your blog, such as a stat tracker and even haul tracker. I'm finding it hard to decide!

The reason why I couldn't wait to share this before I'd even picked up my own copy, is because the lovely folks over at The Bloggers Planner have given me a 20% off code to share with you all!
Simply use the code "TREATME20"!

Enjoy!

What I Got for Christmas!

Hello!

I thought I'd do a "what I got for Christmas" post as I absolutely love reading these posts - probably because I'm so nosey! I am in no way trying to show off about what I received, like I said I enjoy reading these kinds of posts so I thought I'd do one myself!

I mainly asked for money for Christmas to help support my plans for 2015 (moving out or any other adventures!), but the gifts I did receive are absolutely gorgeous and I've been very lucky!

I got the Lush Christmas Candy box, Philosophy Pure Grace gift set, Gucci Guilty gift set, Prada Candy, a lovely silver bracelet from H. Samuel and tickets to see Die Antwoord in January!

I am incredibly lucky to have such lovely gifts, I can't wait to review them! (a bloggers mind, eh?! Haha)

If you've done one of these posts, please link them below as I'd love to have a nose!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Thinking About Horse Riding? Tips, Truths & General Info

Hello!

*image from Google

Something slightly different today. I've been speaking to quite a few people lately about horse riding, and I've discovered that so many people are interested in horse riding but either don't know where to start or are "scared" to start. I'm no equine expert, but I have spent around 13 years of my life around them, so I feel like I could at least advise in where to start!

General Information
- Horse riding isn't cheap. Prices of lessons do depend on what area you live in though. In Worcestershire, the general price at a standard riding school is around £30 per hour.
- Riding schools provide riding hats, so there's no need to invest in a hat if you aren't sure whether you'll stick at it.
- For your first few lessons, wear some thick leggings and shoes with a small heel. A lot of new riders wear wellies!

Truths
- When you first start riding, you will feel off-balance. It takes a while to be able to adjust your balance and be able to comfortably move with the horse.
- As well as feeling off-balance, you've also got to learn to hold the reins and keep your feet in the proper position in the stirrups. You will most likely look very awkward.
- You will fall off. Falling off doesn't mean you're a bad rider though, you may have made a mistake or your horse could have spooked and caught you off guard, but falling off makes for a better rider - trust me on this one! Those Olympians didn't make it to where they are today without a few broken bones,
- Yes, you could actually break a bone. Or multiple bones.
- Horse riding is one of the most, or the most, dangerous sport in the world.

Tips
- Practice makes perfect! Mix up your learning with group lessons and private lessons. Group lessons are fun and generalised, whereas you can choose what to focus on in a private lesson.
- If you fall off, get back on! It's probably all you'll hear from equestrians, but honestly, if you come off and don't get back on, you'll find it so hard to get back on again. I learnt this the hard way!
- Don't rush out and buy all the gear straight away. Make sure you're going to keep up with riding before splashing the cash. Decent protective equipment and clothing can cost a fair bit!

Don't let my truths put you off! Horse riding is such a rewarding sport, you learn so much about something so great, learn a lot about your own personality and of course get a good workout and some fresh air!
I will warn you though... Horses are addictive!

That's it for my little guide! I didn't want to go mad on information, but if you want to know anything else, please feel free to email me.

Earth Day

Hello!

I've actually got another post lined up for you today which I will post shortly, however I couldn't allow Earth Day to pass by without me blogging about it!

Every 22nd of April, Earth Day is held around the world. It is a celebration of the beautiful planet we live on and around 192 countries celebrate it each year. Earth Day originally started in 1970 as a protest for the support of environmental protection. Whilst we all should still be trying to protect our rainforests and help keep endangered species alive, many people take the time to appreciate the beauty this world does have, such as rolling countryside, gorgeous beach-fronts and incredible architecture.

Today I've chosen lots of pictures, all from Google's "My Beautiful Earth" project which I wanted to share with you. Check out more images here.
Also, if you want to get involved with donation or any other part of Earth Day, check out the Earth Day Network

This has been a really nice post to write. I've been looking for hours (literally) at people's amazing photography on My Beautiful Earth. The animals are my favourite to look at, they are just so special.

Will you be celebrating Earth Day in any way?
