L'Oreal True Match Foundation

Quite a while ago I bought L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation after seeing such good reviews, yet I never got round to reviewing it! I have now picked up another bottle, but this one is 2 shades darker as I am slowly tanning. It's hard to get a tan in England when you are dodging the rain haha!

I have to say I was impressed with this foundation. This has jumped straight to my favourite highstreet foundation. It offers amazing coverage, a fantastic colour range and makes your skin look incredible.

I really like the packaging. It's your average glass bottle with a pump, and personally, I feel like this is the best design for foundation. It's easy, fuss-free, mess-free and you can control how much product you use better, I feel. It is also a smart little bottle, I definitely think it has a more expensive feel about it.

The product itself is absolutely amazing. I've never tried such a great highstreet foundation, plus it's only £9.99! The formula is pretty runny compared to a lot of foundations I've used but once on the face it's fine, gives fantastic coverage with ease and is super blendable. I find this foundation applies best with a sponge. It is non-drying too, which is the first thing I look at when buying a product.
I really like the colour pay-off with these foundations too. I always worry about summer foundations as I need a much darker shade, yet it's so hard finding one that's not orange. Yet these manage to have darker shade foundation without having that slight orange tinge.

I am so, so impressed with this product. I've been loving L'Oreal recently, keep up the good work guys! I am definitely a new fan.
I'm also really impressed they have darker shades and a more wide shade-range.

Seventeen Phwoarr Paint

If there's one thing I know, it's dark under-eye circles. I'm always on the lookout for new products that could help me out, and changing up my makeup routine in the hope I may find something that works well on my tired-looking eyes.

I've seen Phwoarr Paint floating around the blogosphere for a while now, so I just decided to pick it up and give it a try!

The packaging isn't my favourite, although it probably is the best way to package this heavy creamy formula. It does come with a small mirror which is always handy.

I don't think I've ever used such a heavy concealer before, it certainly doesn't lack coverage. I have pretty deep coloured dark circles and this does help a lot. I apply this before foundation, then add another concealer layer after my foundation for maximum coverage.
I find this applies best if I use a firm flat eyeshadow brush, then blended in using my fingertips.

The one thing that bugs me about this product is that it can be drying. A couple of times I've worn this concealer I've noticed that my skin looks awful, like my makeup hasn't gone quite right or that my skin is really dry. It also doesn't stand up to heat very well, creating the same problem with dodgy looking skin!

Overall, I'm pretty on the fence with this one. Maybe over time I will begin to love it more, I think I just expected a bit more from the product. It's great when I'm having a good skin day and I don't get too warm throughout the day, but of course these things aren't always avoidable.

What's your opinion on this concealer?

L'Oreal Glam Bronze La Terra Sun Powder

I recently went hella crazy in my local Superdrug. I went in to get the last items for my holiday, but couldn't resist some of the offers! L'Oreal had the best offer, 2 products for £12. This was by far my best purchase, as I bought this bronzer and a concealer for £12 - bearing in mind that this bronzer is £12.99 on it's own. How's that for a great deal?!

My first impressions of this bronzer was a good one. I am totally obsessed with the packaging, from the metallic orange details to that stunning aztec pattern embossed onto the bronzer itself! Simply gorgeous. I'm a sucker for patterns, it just gives the product so much more appeal than a plain pan.

The bronzer itself is lovely. It's got a slight shimmer in the pan but it does not transfer onto the face. It is so smooth and blends like an absolute dream, not to mention the pigmentation certainly packs a punch! I use a very light hand on application to give me a gorgeous natural looking bronzed glow.

I'm so happy I picked this up, it's such a beautiful product and one of the best bronzers I've tried. Although you do need a light hand to avoid looking orange, a good application will turn you into a bronze goddess! (or at least that's how it makes me feel)

I really recommend this, it's so worth picking up - especially with the fab offer on at the moment! 99p off full price and something free!
